Meet Michael

Born in Montreal, Canada, Michael Denis, came to Los Angeles in 2006 to join the love of his life in his wife Melia after meeting Hawaii few months before. Michael always gravitated around sports and fitness throughout his life and became a fitness professional in 2010. After working in some of the best fitness centers in the country and competing as an age group triathlete, Michael created the MDF MATRIX. The MDF MATRIX is a proven system that use science to build a customized training plan for any athlete of any level that will lead them to success.

What make Michael a great personal trainer and an amazing coach is not his degrees from the National Academy of Sport Medicine and the USAT or his certification with Precision nutrition but his personal approach and his dedication for each of his athletes. His attention to details and his professionalism is second to none.

A key element missing from most physical fitness programs is the nutritional element. I won’t put you on a unrealistic diet or ask you to only eat carrots and celery, no carzy diet that as soon as you are off of it you put all the weight you lost back on, instead I will teach a new way of living where fitness play a key role. You will finally keep the weight off once and for all.

I will work with you to develop a realistic and achievable nutrition program, including a meal plan. This service is included at no additional cost for all personal training clients. The result of this comprehensive approach is a program designed for you and based on your goals.

MDF Matrix

The MDF MATRIX is a proven system that use science to build a customized training plan for any athlete of any level that will lead them to their Peak Performance. The MDF Matrix start with a thorough Fitness assessment, a test where we measure the athlete’s ability to move and measure any postural imbalances if any. The results of the assessment will decide in which phase of the MATRIX the athlete will start. All athletes will progress through the 3 different phases of the MDF MATRIX to reach their Peak Performance and eliminating injuries. The importance of movement quality for an athlete is crucial to maximize performances.
